RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing I-24 from Stones River Bridge (MM 78.5) to East of the Bridge over CSX Railroad (MM 82)
* Friday April 1 at 8PM through Monday April 4 at 5AM, There will be partial lane closures on the I-24 westbound on ramp at MM 81 (from Hwy 231, Church Street onto I-24 WB) for saw cutting of existing concrete pavement. One lane will remain open to traffic. One of the northbound turning lanes on Church Street (US 231) to I-24 westbound will also be closed. Following completion of work, time permitting, I-24 westbound on ramp at MM 80 (from Hwy 99 onto I-24 westbound) will be partially closed for saw cutting of existing concrete pavement.
RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Grading, Drainage and Paving on SIA Route Serving Nissan North America
* From now through August 2016, Singer Road, from North Broad Street to the Nissan North America entrance, will be closed to through traffic. This closure will remain in place until the project has been completed or until 8/31/16. Local business access within the project limits will be provided.

through April 9
Veterans Pkwy aka Kimbro Road Widening Project (Barfield Road to Saint Andrews Drive)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday: 6:30 am to 4:30 pm: Final pavement marking and incidental work continues on Veterans Pkwy between Yeargan Road and Barfield Road. There will be incidental lane closures and traffic interruptions during the these operations. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
Bridge over Broad Street TDOT Project
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 8:00 pm to 6:00 am: There will be alternating lane closures on NW Broad Street, Ridgley Road and W College Street for underground utility crossing. There will be lane shifts and traffic interruptions. Broadmor Blvd is closed to through traffic for utility crossing and general construction work. W Lytle Street and a short segment of College St and Burton St are also closed to traffic for construction work. Retaining wall work continues as part of the southwest and southeast ramps for the new overpass. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
Sewer Pump Station Project (NW Broad St at Battlefield Pkwy)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 5 pm: Contractor for Water & Sewer Department will be installing sewer lines within TDOT right-of-way/Battlefield Pkwy. A small section of Battlefield Pkwy is closed. Underground bore work continues. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.
W Lytle Street Relocation Project (NW Broad St to Barker St)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 8:00 pm to 6:00 am: W Lytle Street is also closed to traffic at NW Broad Street for construction work. Underground utility work continues. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
Middle Tennessee Widening Project (Greenland Dr to E Main St)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday: The contractor has implemented the next phase of the traffic control plan on Middle Tennessee Blvd. Traffic on Middle Tennessee Blvd has been shifted to the east side and reduced to two lanes between E Main St and Greenland Dr (near the tennis courts). E Lytle St is closed at Middle Tennessee Blvd. The section of E Lytle St between N Bilbro Ave and Middle Tennessee Blvd are only open to local traffic. Appropriate traffic controls and detours signs will be in place.
Murfreesboro Water & Sewer Rehabilitation Work
1) At 2410 Sulphur Springs Rd – 4/7 and 4/8
2) Sulphur Springs between Victoria Dr and Ravenwood Dr – 4/7 and 4/8
3) Jetton Dr between Lokey Ave and E Hembree St – 4/7 and 4/8
4) Greenland Dr between Old Lascasss Rd and Brown Dr – 4/4 and 4/5 (night work 8 pm to 6 am)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm: The contractor for Water & Sewer Department will be performing manhole rehabilitation/repairs of the sewer lines. Traffic will be reduced to one lane flagging operation. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
TDOT Roadway Improvement Project (Singer Road between NW Broad St and CSX Railroad)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday, March 14 – Wednesday, August 31: The contractor for TDOT will be closing Singer Rd between NW Broad St and CSX Tracks to make roadway improvements. Access to and from businesses and residents will be from Florence Road. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
Private Development CUD Water Line Work (Savannah Ridge Drive just east of S Church St)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 11:30 pm & 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm: Contractor for a private development will be installing a water line crossing across Savannah Ridge Dr. Savannah Ridge Dr will be reduced to one lane flagging operation. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
Private Development Turn Lane Improvement Work (New Salem Hwy just west of Saint Andrews Dr)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm: Contractor for a private development will be making turn lane improvement on New Salem Hwy just west of Saint Andrews Dr. There will be incidental lane closures and traffic interruptions. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
Annual City Street Paving Project
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM: City paving contractor will be milling/paving the following streets: Avenal Ct, Crown Hill Dr, Northwoods Cove, Henry Hall, Victoria Dr, Cornwall Ct, Leeds Ct, Rye Ct, Langtry Ct, Fairfax Dr, Flower Park, Jackson Rd & General Kirk Dr. There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions.
