The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 2955 S. Church St. in Murfreesboro will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, for 12 employers seeking to fill 300 positions in Rutherford and surrounding counties.
Employers include Randstad, Quality Staffing, U.S. Census, Genesis Call Center, Universal Logistics, Murfreesboro City Schools, Lucky Ladd Farms, Cricket Wireless, Elwood Staffing, Job Corps, Onin Staffing and Goodwill. Openings include production technician, retail sales associate, retail manager, forklift operators, call center representative, warehouse assembly, census-taker, custodian, tour guide, cashier, cook, parking attendant, playground attendant, concessions and other positions. Rates of pay reach $23 per hour.
Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
