Climb Murfreesboro welcomed hundreds of visitors this past weekend to its new 33,000 ft facility, located in the Parkside development on 1660 Memorial Blvd. The new indoor climbing facility is Climb Nashville’s largest gym to date, and the first Climb property to feature an expansive, dedicated area for kids. Climb Murfreesboro’s official grand opening block party, featuring live music, food trucks, games, climb demos and more, is scheduled for Saturday, September 15.
“The positive response from the Murfreesboro community has been extremely gratifying,” says Lance Brock, director of development, Climb Nashville. “From experienced climbers to first-timers of all ages, we welcome the community with open arms during these initial weeks leading up to our grand opening celebration on September 15.”
This fall, Climb Murfreesboro is expected to draw hundreds of participants per day to its facility, significantly boosting activity to Parkside’s 77,200 ft neighborhood center. That visitor estimate is set to skyrocket when Climb Murfreesboro hosts the USA Climbing Collegiate National Championships in April 2019.
Currently, Climb Murfreesboro is open Monday through Friday from 2 – 10 pm, Saturdays from 9 am – 6 pm, and Sunday from Noon to 6 pm. Expanded hours will begin on Saturday, September 1.
Parkside is managed and leased by Baker Storey McDonald Properties, Inc. and is curated for the whole-living individuals and families of Murfreesboro.
