The Smyrna Police Department is mourning the passing of one of its K9s.
K9 Ryker passed away on Thursday, October 19th. K9 Ryker served the Smyrna community for 8 years. His last shift on patrol was Wednesday night.
K9 Ryker began service in the Smyrna community in October 2015 with his handler, Officer Don Godby.
Officer Godby, sends his heartfelt tribute to Ryker, “Bedankt dat je een geweldige partner bent. Ik hou van je vriend. Tot ooit nog eens!”
He will be truly missed by his family and the Smyrna Police Department.
