David Leamon Kirby, age 77, passed away at his residence March 4, 2019. He was born in Davidson County and was a resident of Rutherford County. David served in the United States Army. David was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Al Menah Shriners in Nashville. He attended World Outreach Church and was a retired Corporate Controller.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Kirby and Virginia Hull Adams; and sisters, Judith Pearce and Sheila Taylor. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Donna Cawley Kirby; sons, David Leamon Kirby, Jr; Jonathan (Heather) Kirby; daughters, Marisa (Corey) Massey, Leslie (Jody) Johnson; sister, Victoria Mayes; grandchildren, Kyndall, Joshua, Hannah, Matthew, John Ryan, Maclyn, Tucker; and great grandchildren, Kymberli and Kyndra.
Visitation with the family will be 4:00-8:00 pm, Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
Chapel service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, March 11, 2019 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home. Burial will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
