OBITUARY: David Arnold Case

Mr. David Arnold Case entered eternal life on Sunday, May 8th, 2022. He was the 2nd son born to parents Floyd and Kathryn Case in Jackson, Michigan on June 6th, 1938.

David married the love of his life, Judith L. Case, whom he met and knew since he was in the 2nd Grade.

He served his country in the Army National Guard. In his late twenties, David moved to Minneapolis, MN where he started his own company, a manufacturers’ representative agency that served several high-tech companies. In 2001, David and Judi retired to Scottsdale, AZ where they enjoyed and experienced the beauty of the Southwest, leading him to become a volunteer at Desert Botanical Gardens. They later moved to Murfreesboro, TN to be near their only daughter and family.

David was well traveled by land, sea, and air. In his retirement, he and his wife taught computer classes on cruise ships for several years. He also worked at Linebaugh Library computer lab after moving to Murfreesboro.

He was a faithful member of St. Rose Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus fraternal organization. God had blessed him with a talent for building, fixing, and repairing. He generously shared his gift with family, friends, and neighbors. He tried to live by the Gospel, with joy and generosity each day. He was a kind, gentle man and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His was a life well lived.

David is preceded by his parents, Floyd and Kathryn Case, and his son, Matthew D. Case.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 Years, Judith L. Case; daughter, Sarah E. Garner; son in law, Christopher; grandchildren, Ashley E. Scott (Brandon), and Taylor C Garner (Maddie).

A visitation will be held at St. Rose Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 17th, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a Memorial Mass following at 11:00 AM. He will be buried in St. John’s Cemetery in Jackson, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice in memory of David.
