Metro Diner, a new breakfast, lunch and dinner eatery, is now open in Murfreesboro at 711 A-I North Thompson Lane. The new restaurant celebrated their grand opening and ribbon cutting on December 11.
Metro Diner hails from Jacksonville, Florida and has over 60 locations. Metro Diner was featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and has received awards like Best Breakfast, Best Fried Chicken, Best Diner and more.
With an array of menu options, you can eat at Metro Diner any time of the day.
Here’s a sampling of the types of things you’ll find on their menu:
Breakfast Pie (a Metro original)
Layers of eggs, cheese, mushrooms, onions, peppers and red skin potatoes
Huevos Rancheros
Choice of eggs served over fried tortilla shells, chorizo sausage, black beans, onions and peppers. Topped with melted cheese, salsa, sour cream, jalapeños and green onions.
Charleston Shrimp & Grits
Two fried grit cakes infused with cheese, roasted red peppers and Andouille sausage. Topped with shrimp, sausage, onions and peppers in a shrimp sauce. Garnished with chopped bacon and green onions.
Fried Chicken and Waffle
Half a fried chicken and a Belgian waffle topped with sweet, strawberry butter and served with our signature sweet and spicy sauce.
Holy Davoli Burger
Half pound of Angus beef burger topped with lettuce slaw (shredded lettuce, chopped pickle and mayo) in between two grilled cheese sandwiches stuffed with American cheese, ripe tomatoes and our own cherrywood smoked bacon.
