Michael Ray Davis, a loving and devoted husband and father, son, brother and uncle passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at home with his immediate family at his bedside in La Vergne, TN. Michael had just turned 48 years of age.

He was born September 10, 1974 in Nashville, TN to Jerry Wayne Davis and Kathy Lynn Davis. He was the first born to that union that also included his younger sister Crystal Sliger.

Michael served in the US Army in his 20’s. He was also an honorary veteran of the US Army RA receiving a National Defense Service Medal, an Army Service Ribbon, and a marksmanship badge for rifle and grenade.

Following his duty, he moved to Florida and then back to Tennessee where he met his wife, Nicholle Tucker, who had two daughters which he helped raise as his own, Toni and Amanda Dintelman. Their union welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Hannah Davis.

He was introduced by his father in law to the car business where he flourished as a successful salesman. People respected and trusted him. He was an honest and hardworking man. His beautiful smile, faith in God, love for family and ability to confide in will be missed by his mom and sister.

Michael was an extremely active “king of honey do’s” who was never without a project around the house or helping out others close to him. He and his family enjoyed trips to Gatlinburg, loved to hike and enjoyed anything outdoors. Hannah remembers the best trip with her dad at Universal and the Harry Potter world. She will dearly miss the daily school rides with her dad. Toni will miss all the loving advice and deep conversations they shared. His mother-in-law will miss the daily conversations, laughter and respect he showed her.

Michael showed his wife how a man should truly love and respect a woman. He proved to her on a daily basis his love for her. He believed in all women’s rights. He was the strongest man anyone could have known and fought to live and protect his family until his very last breath. He will be missed and loved dearly.

His memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of his wife Nicholle Tucker; daughters Hannah Davis and Toni Dintelman; his mother Kathy Davis; sister Crystal and brother-in-law Franky Sliger; niece Taylor Sliger, nephews Richie and Jamon Sliger. Michael was proceeded in death by his father Jerry Wayne Davis and daughter Amanda Dintelman.

The family will have a public visitation for friends and guests on Monday, November 7th, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna, TN, with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at approximately 2:00 PM at Mapleview Cemetery in Smyrna, TN. https://www.woodfinchapel.com
