Jeffrey Allen Dodson, age, 53 of Murfreesboro, TN, was made perfect before our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
A native of Murfreesboro, TN, he was preceded in death by his mother Linda Carol Fisher Dodson.
Jeff is survived by his father Joe Allen Dodson, and brother Jonathan Kyle Dodson and sister-in-law Caresa Lynn Dodson all of Murfreesboro, TN; nephews and nieces, Tyler Scot Young of LaVergne, Jenna Lanee Wrobel, Jonathan Kyle Dodson Jr, Harleigh Jean Dodson, and Fisher Todd Dodson all of Murfreesboro, TN and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jeff was to graduate with the class of 1986 at Oakland High School, but due to his car wreck, he was not able to obtain his diploma until 1989. Jeff worked at the Rutherford County Adult Day Program at the Rutherford County Adult Activity Center, prior to it changing to Journeys In Community Living. In Jeff’s last few years, he lived and was supported by one of their group homes in our community.
Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, November 11, 2022, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Pastor Phillip Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
