After a brave battle with Covid-related pneumonia, Christopher Lee Sullivan, age 46, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford, Murfreesboro, TN.
Chris is survived by his parents, Lyman and Diane Sullivan; his wife of 21 years, Leslie Moreland Sullivan; children, Brookelynn, Bella, and Bodie; brother, Brian (Julie) Sullivan; sister, Rachel (Jeremy) Thomas; in-laws, Tom and Libby Moreland; sister-in-law, Lindsey (Clifton) Parker; nieces and nephews, Cole, Mary Kate, and Jenna Sullivan, Griffin, Maddox, and Hayes Thomas. He had many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was born in Nashville, TN on January 29, 1975. He lived most of his life in Murfreesboro, graduating from Riverdale High School. After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University, he married Leslie in 2000. He enjoyed working in the medical sales field. His favorite pastimes were the Tennessee VOLS, playing golf with his friends, and watching Fox News.
Chris’s proudest accomplishment was his three children. He was a devoted father who was excited about coaching his son’s soccer team this month. Chris was a loving son, brother, grandson, friend, and Christian. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him.
Visitation with the family will be 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
Chapel service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, August 13, 2021, at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with friends and family serving as active pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, an account has been established in Leslie Sullivan’s name for the benefit of her and the children at any Pinnacle Bank location.
