UPDATE: Tickets purchased by head football coach, Rick Stockstill for the Blue Raiders’ bowl game will be available this Wednesday (12/6) first come, first serve. The tickets can be picked up at the MTSU ticket office. A MTSU I.D. will be required to get your ticket.

Per @MTAlumni on Twitter, MTSU head football coach, Rick Stockstill anounces he will purchase $10k worth of bowl game tickets to distribute to students when the Raiders take on Arkansas State Dec. 16.
MTSU will compete in the Camellia Bowl this year, a bowl that is played in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, AL.

Stock’s decision to purchase the tickets come from Blue Raider fans who have had trouble attending the team’s last two bowl games. Understandably, students couldn’t make last year’s bowl game, due to it being in Hawaii.
More details to come on how tickets will be distributed.

As for the game, Arkansas State is from the Sun Belt Conference and finished their season 7-4. The Red Wolves have now reached a bowl game for seven straight years. In those seven games, Arkansas State is 4-3, last year defeating UCF in the Cure Bowl, 31-13.
