Ruthie Garrett Baker, age 67, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Adams Place.
She was born in Byrdstown, TN and has lived in Rutherford County for the past 45 years.
Ruthie retired as a teacher for 38 years in the Rutherford County School system, primarily at Buchanan Elementary. She was a member of Farris Chapel United Methodist Church.
Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents, William Flemming Garrett and Elizabeth Mullins Garrett.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Baker; son, Collin Garrett Baker; and sister, Carolyn Garrett.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
