Richard Guy Leonard, Jr., age 92, passed away peacefully at his home with his wife and daughter by his side on October 17, 2023.
He loved to fish, music and ride motorcycles. Richard served in the United States Army and retired from General Electric. He was a member of Science Hill Church of Christ.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Guy Leonard, Sr and Annie Baird Leonard; and brothers, Kenneth Leonard and Hoyte Leonard.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Evelyn Stacy Leonard; daughter, Vicki Cooksey; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until time of chapel service at 1:30 PM, Friday, October 20, 2023 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home with Roy Upton officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with nephews serving as pallbearers.
