Neil Parrish “Parry” Lancaster, age 61, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Montgomery, AL but has lived all of his life in Rutherford County.
He graduated from Oakland High School and received a bachelor’s degree in communication from Middle Tennessee State University. He was a member of the PI Kappa Alpha fraternity. He was Vice President of sales at All Van Trucking, was the owner and operator of Wholesale Tops Company and was most recently a maintenance supervisor of Davidson Metro Schools. Parry will always be remembered for his dry wit, keen intellect, his love of animals, his unwavering commitment to his family and his generous heart. He was diligent and hard working in all the tasks he faced in life and lived by an honest creed. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Parry was preceded in death by his parents; Neil Parrish JR. and Nell McDonald Lancaster. He is survived by his wife, Libby Lancaster, sons; Austin Lancaster and Tanner Lancaster, sister, Penny Mitchell and husband Buddy and mother-in-law, Katie Thompson.
A private graveside service will be held for Parry on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 4:00P.M. until 6:00P.M. at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home; 820 South Church St. Murfreesboro, TN 37130.
