Lorraine Dill Fite, age 81, passed away, peacefully at home, on February 2, 2025. Lorraine was a loving figure known for her devotion as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her resilience and capacity for spreading laughter and love left a deep imprint on everyone she met.
Lorraine was born to James Thomas Dill and Jonnie Burgess Dill and was later married to Larry Wade Fite, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Kendra Reasoner (Keith) and Michele Collins (Glenn); her brother, James “Jimmy” Dill; grandchildren, Jennifer Griffin, Christopher Holden, and Ashley McMurry; great-grandchildren, Bayleigh Elliott and Dillon Bass; and several cherished nephews and niece.
Professionally, Lorraine dedicated 25 years to State Farm Insurance Co, where her commitment and hard work were well recognized. She was also a faithful member of the Kingwood Heights Church of Christ in Murfreesboro.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM until time of memorial service at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
In times of sorrow, may we find solace in the fond memories we shared with Lorraine. Let us remember her infectious laughter, her warm smile, and her unwavering love. Though she may be physically absent, her spirit will forever remain with us, guiding us through every challenge.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kingwood Heights Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, TN honoring Lorraine’s commitment to her faith and community.
