Gerald Marvin Walker, age 87, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at The Rutherford Memory Care Center.
He was a native of Aurora, IN and has lived in Rutherford County since 1982.
He served in the Marine Reserve, He worked at Borrough’s Corporation, Bob Parks Realty and Unisys. When working at Unisys Gerald was the top marketing salesman.
Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Walker, parents, Harald J. and Luanna Walker and sister Viola Beaudoin.
He is survived by his son, Gerald Marvin Walker Jr., daughter, Cindy Peaster, brothers, Ben Walker, Harald Walker, Ronnie Walker and Grant Walker, sister, Lois Hurt and grandchildren, Carley Renee (Mathew) Wilson, William Canaan McNeal and Walker Caleb McNeal and Great Grandchildren, Winston Charles Wilson and Chandler William Wilson.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Evergreen Cemetery. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
