Agnes Eunice Weaver, age 90, passed away Friday, November 15, 2019. She was the daughter of the late John and Nancy Shepherd. She was also preceded in death by her husband Gabriel Weaver; son, John Weaver; brother, George Goodall; and son in law, Glenn Turner.
She is survived by her children, Pauline Bennet and her husband Ian of England, Jacquelyn Turner, David Weaver and wife Susan, Laura Heath and husband John, all of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Justin and Megan Turner, Nick and Noah Weaver, William Bennet, Ryan and Grace Heath; great grandchildren, Caroline, Hadley, and Harrison Weaver, Lenya Weaver, Ryder Turner Melvin; and brother, Keith Rae of England.
Mrs. Agnes grew up in Scotland, where she met her husband Gabriel while he was serving overseas for the Air Force. They traveled all over the world including Europe. In 1972 they decided to settle down in Murfreesboro, TN where they built their life here in the United States. She was a 40 plus year volunteer for the hospital. She was a generous, caring, loving mother and Nana. The family would like to express many thanks to The Villages, Harmony, Adam’s Place, NHC, and special friends Edna Scott and Sue Marino.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America or Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel from 4:00-8:00 PM. A graveside service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
