2:00: MFRD is currently on scene providing mutual aid for a large brush fire in the area of East Gum Road. We have at least two engines and our two brush trucks on scene. Please stay clear of the area.

According to Rutherford County EMS, a large brush fire is being fought off East Gum Road near Hughes Road and Manchester Pike.
