Mayday Brewery invites everyone to experience the solar eclipse on Aug 21, 2017 drinking great beer and listening to a live band play Pink Floydâs Dark Side Of The Moon album in its entirety. Admission is free and Mayday will open at 11:00 to serve its array of craft beers and Jpopâs Food Truck will be onsite serving food. Also, Head Brewer Kelsey Nelson will be debuting a small batch âEclipseâ a habanero stout to represent the heat of the sun behind the dark moon.
Mayday Owner Ozzy Nelson says, âPink Floyd is one of my favorite bands and their wonât be another solar eclipse in this neighborhood for another 30 odd years, so its great excuse to have a party and make this 2017 eclipse a great experience.
The band âUs and Themâ will perform the album âDark Side of the Moon” in entirety from the first heartbeat to the last beginning at 12:46pm on Monday August 21st which will bring about the climax of the albumâs last cut âEclipseâ during the total eclipse of the sun at 1:29pm. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a live performance of this classic album during a total solar eclipse. After the total eclipse is finished, the band will play a few more âsunnyâ tunes and Mayday will close at 3:00.
