It is with great sadness that the family of Matthew Reed Hartquist announces his passing on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the age of 42.
Matt will be lovingly remembered by many, including his wife, Tiffany; daughter, Chloe; son, Hunter; his parents, Larry and Dolores Hartquist; and father-in-law, David Colgrove; 3 brothers, Eddie (Prima); David (Lisa); Troy (Mia); brother-in-law, Derek Bough; sister-in-law, Valerie Colgrove; Matt will also be fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Matt was born in Sarasota, FL raised in Des Moines, IA, and currently resided in Murfreesboro, TN where he was employed at Murfreesboro Electric Department. In addition to the many friends who will cherish his memory, Matt also loved to sing, make people laugh, and cheer on his Florida Gators and Dallas Cowboys.
A celebration of life service will be held in Des Moines, IA on Saturday, September 15th, at a time and place to be determined and posted on the website of Murfreesboro Funeral Home at a later date.
