Charles Edward Oxsher, age 71, passed away August 28, 2018 at St Thomas Rutherford Hospital with friends and family. He was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, David and Susan Ailene Fuller Oxsher. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Razzie Butler Oxsher, Chris Oxsher, Jeff Windrow, step-son, Mike (Della) Cothran; step-daughter, Deborah (Gilbert) Fields; brother, Jerry (Pam) Oxsher; grandchildren, Rusty (Jennie) Barnett, Rebecca Fields-Santin, William Fields, Nathan (Jackie) Fields, Mickey (Renee) Cothran, Chaz Windrow; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be 9:00-10:30 AM, Friday, August 31, 2018 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home. Graveside will follow at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
