“We take care of our own,” said Officer Eric Crowder in 2015, when he decided to donate his kidney to fellow La Vergne Police Sergeant Chip Davis. Now a year later, both policemen are taking care of others who suffer from kidney diseases by raising awareness for the National Kidney Foundation.
