5 New Tennessee Laws in Effect July 1

Opiod Epidemic 

In an ongoing fight to treat and stop the growing addiction to opioids, a new law now requires pain management clinics to be licensed and subject to regular and surprise inspections. Also, schools will now be required to keep on hand a supply of Narcan – an opioid antagonist – that is used to treat overdoses.
