More Money For School Supplies
As of 2016, $200 was set aside for every public school teacher in grades K-12 for instructional supplies. Each teacher in a public school will themselves get $100, and the other $100 will be pooled and spent as decided by a committee of teachers at each school.
On July 1, that increases to $400, with and $200 and $200 split.
