Stephen Eugene Franks, age 64, passed away at St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN. He was a native of Chillicothe, OH, but has lived in Rutherford County for many years. Steve was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from American Airlines as a mechanic. He was a hard-working husband, father, and grandpa who enjoyed spending time with his family and sharing his love of classic cars with them.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Helen Franks; and sisters, Patricia Franks and Barbara Redman.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cheryl Franks; son, Brian (Mandy) Franks; daughters, Stephanie Franks and Kristin (Jeff) Boynton; and four grandchildren, Blaine and Abigail Franks, Riley and baby sister Boynton.
Visitation with the family will be 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Josh Reyenga officiating.
