Stephen Crawford Hupp, longtime resident of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away on March 13, 2025.
Stephen Crawford Hupp was born in San Francisco, California to Carita Louise Crawford and Earl Rodney Hupp on May 7, 1941.
He went to school in Glendora, California and proceeded to UCLA for his Bachelor of Business Administration. He married Pamella Elisa Smith on June 3, 1971 in her home in Palos Verdes, California.
He moved to Murfreesboro in 1987 and worked in real estate and in sales for Sears and Home Depot. He was very active and enjoyed the gym, family time and genealogical research. He was a historian for the Sons of the American Revolution and treasurer for Clan Lindsay. His 5th generation great-grandmother was Ann Robertson, first schoolteacher in Nashville, TN and sister to its founder, James Robertson. He and his wife are members of Franklin Road Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his two older brothers Earl Rodney Hupp, Ed Hupp and his sister, Suzie Gordon.
He is survived by his beloved wife Pamella, daughter Carrie Louise Teply and husband Nicholas and their nine children: Jacob Ross, Rachel Marie, Stephen Alexander Rosborough, Sarah Louise, Isaac Timothy, Daniel Crawford, Pamela Elizabeth and David James. His daughter Elisa Pinet Burks and husband Richard and their five children: Richard Blaine, Alice, Thomas, Audrey, and Johnathan. His sister Carita Miller also survives him.

Graveside service was at 3:00 PM, Friday, March 14, 2025 at Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. He will have a direct burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
