Smyrna Library will be closed August 21st through September 6th for renovations. The book drop will still be available. Patrons can use any of the other Linebaugh Library System branches during this time.

The renovations are Phase III of the Spruce Up the Library project and will include new carpet and tile in the main area of the library.

The Smyrna Public Library was founded in 1960 as part of the Linebaugh Public Library System, a system that relies mostly on generous donations to operate. It moved to its current location on November 08, 1999 and is located in the middle of J.J. McWilliams Old Rock School Park. Friends of Smyrna Library is an independent, non-profit, volunteer organization that supports the award-winning Smyrna Public Library through fundraising events and volunteer activities.
