Dolores F. Wood, age 90, passed away September 7, 2018 at NHC Health Care. She was born in Shawnee Oklahoma and has lived in Rutherford County for the past 35 years.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Alyne Strange Hord; 1st husband Robert Dorr, 2nd husband Dutch Wood; sons, Stephen Dorr and Michael Dorr; son-in-law, Bob Wood; and grandson, Peter Hill. She is survived by her daughters, Alyne Shelby of Murfreesboro, Laurie Hill of Minnesota, Denise Wood of Murfreesboro, Cherry Dorr of Texas and Kitty Williams of Texas; grandchildren, Jeff, Carrie, Stephen, Bryan, JoBeth, Robby, Cory, Rick, Mike, Brian, Heather, Amber, Michelle, Joey; and thirty great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service is set for a later date.
