Brenda Faye Hunter, age 58, passed away January 29, 2019 at St Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was born in Palmer, TN and a resident of Rutherford County.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Mary R. Smith and Buford Anderson; and sister, Ruth Harkness. She is survived by her husband, William Howard Hunter, Jr.; daughter, Shannon (Nathan) Phillips; son, Trey (Amber) Hunter; grandchildren, Ethan and Evan Phillips and William Hunter, IV; sister, Kay (Paul) Thompson; and brothers, Sonny (Stella) O’Neil, Rick (Joanie) Anderson, Bill (Courtney) Anderson.
Visitation with the family will be 4:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, February 1, 2019 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home with Chris Rimes and Johnny Gipson officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
