Isn’t it time to get a salad that looks like the photo on Facebook? That is a question asked by those at Salads on Demand. Made to order with the freshest of ingredients, they can be delivered through Grubhub and Doordash, or picked up at their brick and mortar location on Broad Street next to Broadway Motors.
Whether ordering through their website or one of the delivery services, you will receive a delicious salad brimming with your choice of lettuce, meat, cheeses, toppings and homemade dressings.
When you pull up their order form online, you are first offered a choice of lettuce. Options include iceberg, spring mix, spinach, kale or a blend for an additional charge. Next, there are lots of toppings to choose from: Banana peppers, almonds, bell peppers, avocado, black olives, broccoli, cucumbers, Craisins, dill pickles, croutons, eggs, green olives, pecans, green onions, walnuts, regular onions, radishes, mushrooms and tomatoes. These can all be used on the salad, or a few may be selected. The same with cheeses, which include cheddar, Colby Jack or feta. Meat choices include chopped chicken, ham, pork bacon or turkey.
All dressings are made in-house. They include Bleu Cheese, Curry Pepper Honey Mustard, Honey Mustard, House Blend, Italian, Ranch and Tomato Basil Vinaigrette.
One thing that they are careful to note is that both their salads and their dressings are not guaranteed to be gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, or adhering to any specific dietary needs. Salads on Demand salads and dressings do contain or come in contact with nuts, milk, eggs, dairy and other possible allergens.
Salads on Demand only takes orders the day of delivery, Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Also, they suggest that you check your orders carefully before you leave with a pick-up, as they do not remake orders or offer any kind of credits. Messages received after business hours will not be responded to until the following day.
