April 25, 2024 – A teacher with Rutherford County Schools faces charges of stalking and making a false police report, according to Fox17.
Court documents from Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office state Ashley Restrepo was arrested on March 22 and later released on a $7,500 bond.
As of April 26, Restrepo is still listed on the La Vergne Lake Elementary School website as a fourth grade teacher. Rutherford County Schools also confirmed to FOX 17 News that Restrepo is currently employed within the district.
The district also added the charges and allegations are not related to work and they are monitoring the case.
Restrepo is set to be in court on May 23.
