Mr. James Richard Robinson, a resident of Rutherford County, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, he was 70 years old.
He was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County and employed by the City of Murfreesboro, Fleet Division from December 31, 1988-May 30, 2008. He was the co-owner of Robinson Towing and a lifetime mechanic.
James was preceded in death by his father, Charles Robinson, Sr.; sisters, Bonnie Smith, Pamela Patton; and brothers, Wayne Robinson, Dorris Robinson. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Robinson; daughters, Tabitha (Greg) Hall, Kimberly (Mitchell) Peterson; brother, Charles Robinson, Jr.; sisters, Shirley Love, Linda (Gary) Stem; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a special nephew, Jeremy Robinson.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM until time of chapel service at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home with Jeff Lysyczyn officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Robinson, Devin Hall, Daniel McKinney, Joshua Brady. Tommy Miller, and Daniel Bowers.
