Brenda Gale VanWinkle, age 76, passed away on February 15, 2024 at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford.
She was a lifelong native of Murfreesboro and a member of Northfield Church of Christ.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Hillis Hudson and Lula Underwood Hudson; husband, Lane VanWinkle; and brother, Larry “Kenny” Hudson.
She is survived by her son, William “Shane” VanWinkle; Lanea Vanderpool (Kenneth); sisters, Judy Jackson and Debra Hensley; grandchildren, Michaela Vanderpool and Colten Vanderpool; and great-grandchild, Emery Speck.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
Chapel Service will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home with David Bunting officiating. Burial will follow at Coleman Cemetery with Timmy VanWinkle, Cody VanWinkle, Cory VanWinkle, Jay VanWinkle, Archie VanWinkle and Jasen McCormick serving as active pallbearers.
