A Barry touchdown accounted for MTCS’s final points.
The teams battled through a scoreless first quarter. But McGowan’s touchdown run, followed by the Cougars’ customary 2-point conversion, gave MTCS an early 16-0 advantage.
By the second quarter, the rout was on.
