Stewarts Creek baseball continues to pile up victory, as the Red Hawks stepped out of district play Monday and bested Columbia, 4-2.
The Red Hawks pushed their season record to 24-7 with the victory.
In other action involving Rutherford County teams, Oakland fell to Brentwood, 6-5. The Patriots are now 14-16 on the year.
Central Magnet trounced Macon County, 10-3, in District 8-AA action, as the Tigers are now 23-9 for the season.
The Siegel Stars dropped a 5-3 decision against Stewarts Creek. The Stars are 18-13 after the setback.
Smyrna was blanked by Centennial, 8-0, as the Bulldogs fell to 6-23 for the year.
