Alabama Game Preview:
(RV) Vanderbilt Commodores (3-0) vs. #1 Alabama Crimson Tide (3-0)
Line: Alabama -18.5
When: Saturday Sept. 23rd, 2:30 p.m., CBS
Site: Vanderbilt Stadium – Nashville, TN
What to Watch For:
Protecting the football will be key for Alabama to roll over yet another opponant. Saban’s disciplined offense has yet to commit a fumble or interception all season. Vanderbilt’s defense will be looking to ball hawk Bama QB Jalen Hurts and see if they can flip field postiion and possible turn them into points.
The real mismatch comes between Vanderbilt’s offensive line and the Alabama defensive line. If Bama’s front seven is able to get a push and disrupt QB Kyle Shurmur, it’s going to be a long day for the black and gold. There will be a lot of crimson on West End as CBS showcases Saturday’s game on national television.
SEC Nation is set to broadcast live from the The Martha Rivers Ingram Commons from 9-11 a.m. CT on Saturday morning, the second time on campus.
The SEC Nation crew features host Laura Rutledge alongside analysts Tim Tebow, Marcus Spears and Paul Finebaum.
The program made is first trip to West End for the Commodores’ home matchup with Georgia in 2015.
