Stacey D. Woodruff, MBA, will join Saint Thomas Medical Partners (STMP) as Chief Financial Officer (see picture below). Woodruff is a senior executive and longtime leader in physician practice and hospital health care in the middle Tennessee area. As CFO, Woodruff will be responsible for all financial operations at STMP, including financial strategy, operations, billing, acquisitions and contracting. Saint Thomas is part of Ascension, the nationâs largest Catholic and non-profit health system.

Woodruff has experience with medical practices, health systems, including two of the nationâs largest health systems and one of the largest national companies in the disease management industry. Her work has included physician practice management and financial strategy, product development, technology integration and hospital-based provider services. Woodruff has also worked as a consultant to physicians, hospitals and start-up health care initiatives.
Woodruff has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lipscomb University, a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare from Belmont University and holds a CPA license (inactive).
Woodruff has served as a mentor for Nashvilleâs Jumpstart Foundry Accelerator program, a seed-stage healthcare innovation fund. She stays current on health reform legislation and served on the âHealth for Lifeâ Chronic Care Advisory Council for the American Hospital Association in 2008. In 2014, Woodruff was invited to be a guest speaker for two national summits in California hosted by Innovation Enterprises.
