Smyrna Rotary Club invites the community to a presentation about the upcoming all-inclusive playground to be constructed at Lee Victory Park. An all-inclusive playground is designed so that people of all ages and abilities can play together.
The meeting will be at the Smyrna Event Center on January 15 from 6:00 to 7:30pm. The public is encouraged to provide feedback on the current proposal after reviewing renderings and hearing information.
“I am very excited about this much-needed project,” said Beth Hackett, president of Smyrna Rotary. “Rotarians take pride in serving the local community, and this effort will allow us to assist families with special needs by providing enhanced recreational opportunities in partnership with the Town of Smyrna. We hope to receive input from the community for fine-tuning the final design to meet local needs.”
“An all-inclusive playground in Smyrna will greatly benefit our residents,” said Smyrna Mayor Mary Esther Reed, who added, “We appreciate Smyrna Rotary pushing this project as a priority and look forward to working together to make it a reality.”
