Description of Offense : Aggravated Burglary
On 11/29/2017 at 1115 hours Officer A responded to burglary in progress at a home on Lascassas Pike.
Upon arrival the officer made contact with the complainant. She advised that she became alarmed when the family dog began to bark uncontrollably. The dog continued to bark so the complainant, who was upstairs at the time, walked down the steps and peered over the stairwell.
The complainant stated she saw a black male in his 40’s or 50’s looking in to the back door and trying to open it. She then ran back upstairs securing herself in a bedroom before calling police.
There was no property damage to the back door or anywhere else on the property. No contact was made with subject nor was entry made.
