Description Of Offense : Burglary, Vandalism Over $1000
On 8/1/2017 at 0434 hours, Officer A was dispatched to 223 NW Broad Street (Longhorn Liquors) in reference to an alarm. The officer observed a vent on the roof that had been damaged and ceiling tiles broken which where lying on the floor inside the business. The business was cleared and the key holder notified.
A hammer found on the roof and video surveillance showed one suspect entering at 0429 hours. A detective was on scene, a lookout given for the suspect and the hammer entered into evidence.
The suspect appeared to be a white male , 5’11”, thin build, dark hair, short beard, wearing white/tan pants and hat. The suspect appeared to have left through the roof because all doors were secure.
