Robert “Rob” Jonathan Wilson, age 37, was senselessly murdered Friday, July 27, 2018 trying to protect an animal from cruelty.
Rob attended Oakland High School and was of the Christian Faith.
Rob was preceded in death with his grandfathers, John Wilson, Bobby Wilson; his mother, Emily Wilson. He is survived by his father, Rick Wilson; brother, Matt Wilson; son, Christian Wilson; fiancé, Sue Hoskins; grandmothers, Nellie “Mama Nell” Ross Wilson and Faye “Nana” (Kenneth) Black. He is also survived by aunts, Sandy Bugg (Kirk) and Cindy Phillips (Lynn); uncle, Tim Wilson; cousins, Brad Phillips, Travis Bugg, Tara Bugg, John Wilson, and Beth Wilcox.
Visitation with the family will be 4:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home. Graveside will be 10:00 AM, Thursday August 2, 2018 at Short Cemetery.
