Murfreesboro, TN â On Sunday, June 23 at approximately 11:55 p.m., Murfreesboro Police Officers responded to a report of a possible suicide at an apartment complex in the 200 block of John R. Rice Blvd.
The preliminary investigation revealed a male subject suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased on the scene by Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services personnel with assistance from Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department.
There were three (3) adults and a child inside the residence at the time of the incident. No one else was hurt.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the manner in which the victim died.
