Description Of Offense : Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Robbery, Theft Over $10,000
On 12/20/2017 at 1400 hours Officer A responded to 2011 SE Broad Street (Dollar General) in reference to an armed robbery.
When the officer arrived on scene they made contact with the victim. The victim stated he was sitting in the parking lot of 425 Warrior Drive (Green Meadows Apartments) waiting on some friends. The victim advised Officer A that at this time a black male with dreadlocks wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans opened up the passenger side door and put a gun to his ribs and told the victim to ” follow my instructions. ”
At this time the victim stated that another black male who was bald, wearing a blue hoodie and blue jeans opened up the rear passenger side door got into the vehicle and put a gun to his neck. The victim told the suspects that they can have anything they wanted and told them that he had $1600 of cash in his pocket and the black hoodie suspect patted him down and found the cash.
The victim advised the officer that they drove down South Church Street and turned down South Rutherford and ended up at 2011 SE Broad Street where the victim found the opportunity to escape.
At this time no other information is available. The case was then handed over to detectives. The victim’s vehicle was later recovered on Bradyville Pike by another officer.
