Some businesses are choosing to temporarily close due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Here is a list we’ve compiled to date. If your business is temporarily closing, send an email to [email protected] and we will add it to the list.

Hollister Co.

hollisterVia Facebook, the company announced they would temporarily close all stores until further notice.

AMC Theatres

AMC TheatreIn compliance with local, state, and federal #COVID19 directives, all AMC Theatres locations are now closed for at least 6-12 weeks. AMC Stubs A-List memberships will be paused automatically during the time AMC theatres are closed.

YMCA

the YMCALike our entire nation, our YMCA continues to monitor the ongoing developments associated with the community spread of COVID-19, which is prompting us to make some unprecedented decisions.

Due to the ongoing public health emergency presented by the COVID-19 virus outbreak, we will be temporarily closing all YMCA of Middle Tennessee membership center locations effective 8 p.m. tonight (March 17). We anticipate this closure will last at least two weeks but will adapt our plans based on the best and latest guidance from the CDC and local public health officials.

Bath and Body Works

bath and body worksThe company announced on Tuesday, March 17 the closure of all stores. “With breaking news about COVID-19 constantly developing, our goal has been to make products available to help you care for your families and friends to prevent the spread of COVID-19/Coronavirus as much as we can. But based on the information we have today, we have made the extremely difficult decision to temporarily close all of our stores in the U.S. and Canada.”

Sephora

Aerie/American Eagle

Claire’s

Discovery Center

discovery center logoOut of an abundance of caution and to assist with our community’s mitigation efforts, the Discovery Center has made the decision to close temporarily beginning Monday, March 16.

We anticipate remaining closed for two weeks, through Friday, March 27, but will continue to evaluate the situation and post updates as they’re available. During that time, all events and programs are effectively canceled

MTSU’s Tennessee Small Business Development Center

Murfreesboro City Golf Facilities


Old Fort Golf Club, The VA Golf Course, and Bloomfield Links are closed March 17-Sunday, March 22, at this time.

Murfreesboro Parks & Rec

The following indoor facilities are also closed: Adams Tennis Complex Indoor Courts (outdoor courts and restrooms remain open), Sports*Com, Bradley Academy Museum and Cultural Center, Cannonsburgh Village grounds and Visitor’s Center, McFadden Community Center, Patterson Park Community Center, St. Clair Street Senior Center and Wilderness Station

Rutherford County Library System is closed through Saturday, March 21. Read more here.

La Vergne Library

La Vergne TNThe La Vergne Public Library will be closed starting Sunday, March 15 and will not open until after Saturday, March 21.

La Vergne Parks

Veterans Memorial Park Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting planned for February 22All parks in the City of La Vergne were closed indefinitely beginning Sunday, March 15, 2020. All greenways will remain open until further notice.

La Vergne Senior Center
