New Room for New Life at St. Thomas

Wednesday, May 31 marked the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the expansion of the Labor & Delivery Room at Saint Thomas in Murfreesboro. With Saint Thomas still being a relatively new hospital in Murfreesboro, they are always expanding, evolving to meet the needs of the community. Despite the large amount of Murfreesboro citizens that are transplants, around thirty-five hundred babies are born in Murfreesboro every year – Prompting the need for expansion in the Labor & Delivery Department.

The expansion will add on three new rooms to be utilized by the nursing department at Saint Thomas. During the Ribbon cutting ceremony, a local pastor was in attendance, blessing the new rooms and the future life that will see first light in said rooms. Just imagine all those cute future babies to born in the ‘Boro!
