As new businesses move into downtown, like Jack Brown’s Joint  , the portrait of the historic Downtown Square in Murfreesboro is changing. The old Boro Blues Bar has been completely gutted as Andy Marshall brings Puckett’s and Hattie Jane’s Creamery to the square. We reached out to Andy to find out how construction was going and received this response:

“As is the case any time you open a new business, we knew from the beginning that the opening date for the Murfreesboro stores was a moving target. We estimated that the construction timeline would allow us to open by the end of the year, but we’re now looking at very early 2017 and we’re comfortable with that. We’re steadily making progress on the Puckett’s Gro. and Hattie Jane’s and are looking forward to getting them both off the ground right as the new year begins.”
