Twenty-nine Sears and 11 Kmart stores are set to close, reports CNN.com. One of those Sears stores is located in Rutherford County. These closures are in addition to the nearly 200 stores the company previously announced would close.
The Murfreesboro Sears, located at 1720 Old Fort Pkwy, will close its doors in February 2019.
The company will have less than 500 Sears and Kmart stores left open after the additional closures, adds CNN.
