OBITUARY: Gary H. Ralston

Gary H. Ralston, age 72 of Murfreesboro, died Sunday at his home surrounded by his family. He was a native of Rutherford County and a son of the late James Earl Ralston and Ruth Harrison Ralston. He was also preceded in death by a brother, James “Little Jimmy” Ralston.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Pam Ralston; children, James “Jimbo” Ralston of Jacksonville, FL, Christopher H. Ralston of New South Wales, Australia, Kim Ralston, Jason Ralston, and a brother, Larry Ralston, all of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Courtney, Amelia, Jonathon, Colby, and Abby; as well as a host of other loving family and friends.

Mr. Ralston was a 1965 graduate of Central High School where he was a member of the state championship basketball team. He joyfully retired from the City of Murfreesboro after 30 years of service. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge, Murfreesboro and the Al-Menah Shriners Temple, Nashville.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 4:30 p.m. until the time of memorial services beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
