The Middle Tennessee athletic department will be hosting the 4th Annual “Lightning’s Punt, Pass & Kick Competition” on Saturday, November 5 at the Dean A. Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium. The event gets underway at 9:00 a.m. and is open to kids ages 5-12.
The cost is $20 and registration must be done at www.OneGoalSports.net no later than Sunday, Oct. 23. Click HERE to register today. The entry fee includes event participation, a reserved ticket (reg. $24) to the Middle Tennessee-Texas-San Antonio football game that day, a special event t-shirt, a Blue Raider goodie bag, and a certificate of participation.
Each participant will have the opportunity for one punt, one pass, and one kick from a tee. The score will be a combination of distance and accuracy and will be added up to determine each participant’s final score. The top finisher in each age group (5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12) will receive a trophy, autographed football, and on-field recognition during the MT- Texas-San Antonio game. Additional tickets to the 1:30 p.m. football game vs. UTSA can be purchased for family and friends for only $11 (reg. $24).
Following the event, head over to Raider Town near Gate 3 of Floyd Stadium. Starting two hours prior to kickoff, you’ll find a family fun environment with bounce houses, games and music, all for free!
