In more aftermath from yesterday’s Tennessee Comptroller’s Report, Joe Russell has been let go by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department.
The Comptroller’s report found Robert Arnold and Joe Russell guilty of multiple counts of defrauding the public. Russell , who was Arnold’s Administrative chief is also awaiting trial on 14 federal accounts in the Jail Cigs case.
Earlier in the day it was announced that Arnold’s Major, Terry McBurney , was indicted on 9 Federal counts including fraud.
